Kickbox has released a Domain Distribution dashboard that appears automatically on every verified list and on the main verification dashboard. The visual breakdown identifies the share of inboxes hosted by providers such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo/AOL, Apple and nearly 100 others, including regional ISPs and email security gateways. According to the company’s blog, the feature adds no extra credits, incurs no additional cost, and does not increase verification time.
The tool matches each address’s MX record to the provider that receives mail for that domain, counting the highest-priority record. It also surfaces security gateways like Proofpoint or Mimecast when they sit in front of the inbox.
Kickbox says the insight helps marketers adjust warm-up plans, throttle settings, or blocklist responses proportionally to the providers that host the largest portion of their audience. It also flags shifts in provider mix for new sign-up sources and supports international lists by recognizing regional services such as GMX, Telekom, Seznam, Naver and QQ Mail. The feature is live for all accounts, but historical verifications from before activation are not included.
Our read: By surfacing provider-level composition at verification time, Kickbox gives GTM teams a data point that traditionally required separate analytics, potentially reducing trial-and-error in deliverability troubleshooting and allowing more precise allocation of warm-up resources.
