OpenJiuwen launches Hyper-Agent Swarm for persistent AI employees in Feishu and DingTalk

OpenJiuwen, the Huawei-backed open-source agent community, released Hyper-Agent, a swarm architecture that lets persistent AI agents join Feishu and DingTalk groups as digital employees via WorkSwarm Pandaily. The system decouples agents from single conversations; each Persistent Agent keeps its own identity, state, and dedicated email inbox, while sessions become allocatable resources that can be scheduled and resumed with context.

WorkSwarm’s interface lets users create agents from expert templates or from scratch, defining duties, skills, connectors and delivery requirements. When a context window nears its limit, the agent hands off a summary to a new window and can retrieve archived history as needed. Agents operate in passive mode (reply only when mentioned) or adaptive mode (decide to ignore, respond, or intervene).

Cross-app functionality allows the same agent to receive a request in Feishu and deliver results in DingTalk, subject to one-time or permanent permission approvals. Future work aims at coordinating personal and cluster computing resources, active learning and failure recovery for extended collaborations.
